The depth of experience and academic credentials of our team provide our clients with the expertise of larger firms, while our commitment to client services offers a personal one-on-one approach.    We invite you to meet our staff.   Rob Omer, CPA, MST   Rob received his BA in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and his Masters of Taxation from Robert Morris College in 1989.  Rob's 10 years as the Accounting Tax Manager for an area CPA firm was the foundation for the creation of RLO & Company.  RLO & Company started in 1991 as a standard CPA Accounting and Taxation practice.  Within the first year it was evident that his clients would benefit from a Comprehensive Planning Service that combined both their financial and business management objectives.  Rob worked with a number of regional Engineering, Distribution, and Transportation industries in creating comprehensive strategic plans that are still in practice today.  As founder of RLO & Company, Rob continues to be involved in all client engagements and taxation matters.  Along with his management responsibilities, Rob stays active in the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), Pennsylvania Society of Public Accountants (PSPA) and the National Society of Tax Professionals. Lisa A Green, CPA Lisa has a comprehensive background in both financial and business management and graduated with a BS in Business Administration and Accounting from Duquesne University. Lisa has worked in the computer industry including four years as a Branch Manager and Financial Analyst for a national computer reseller.  Her subsequent experience with public accounting firms had her specializing in all facets of tax preparation and certified auditing for banking, corporations, Non-profit organizations and benefit plans.  In addition she managed financials for trust, estates and partnerships.  Lisa’s financial management experience is a strong addition to the RLO team. Starr Lytle As an Assistant Accountant for RLO & Company, Starr supports RLO's business operations and client accounting services.  Starr's background includes 17 years of accounting, tax and technology experience.  She attended Bradford Business School graduating with highest honors in academic excellence.  She completed H&R Block's training program and was certified in individual tax preparation.  Starr provides a number of client services including onsite bookkeeping, payroll and performing general controller functions.  Starr is actively involved in RLO & Company's QuickBooks client training providing onsite and remote account support.  Helen Harrell   With 17 years as an Administrative and Benefits Coordinator for a Cleveland-based accounting firm, Helen comes to RLO with extensive experience in accounting administration and personnel management.  Her background with the firm included work in the tax department, management of COBRA and HIPAA compliance, and total employee benefit coordination. In addition, Helen has knowledge in all aspects of property management and assessment   Helen is our key customer contact and provides administrative support services for both our clients and our staff.   Karen Beck (Independent Contractor/Strategic Consultant)   Karen’s business and consulting expertise includes over 20 years in the design of strategic marketing and product development programs.  Her Fortune 500 corporate experience as a Marketing Director and Product Development Manager gives RLO & Company a results oriented approach integrating product, customer service, and business objectives within the overall marketing program.  As a marketing and sales support consultant, Karen has successfully developed and delivered customized marketing and product packaging programs to a variety of industries and services.  Karen specializes in developing tactical marketing programs that includes value-added services, product positioning and product differentiation.
