Initially in 1991 RLO & Company offered services that were similar to the traditional types offered by local Certified Public Accountants Firms. After a short period of time, we realized our clients needed and would benefit from Comprehensive Planning Services. We developed a planning process that focuses on both wealth creation and wealth preservation. 

As lead consultant, Rob Omer’s close involvement and extensive work with his business clients resulted in RLO & Company’s comprehensive approach to strategic business planning and implementation.  We believe the true success of any strategic plan is not only its implementation, but also the ongoing measurement of its success. Our coordinated approach involving both the financial and business activities of companies has produced strong and planned growth for both large and small businesses and expanded our professional services beyond traditional accounting and tax services.

Our Team

Rob Omer, CPA, MST

Rob received his BA in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and his Masters of Taxation from Robert Morris College in 1989. Rob's 10 years as the Accounting Tax Manager for an area CPA firm was the foundation for the creation of RLO & Company. RLO & Company started in 1991 as a standard CPA Accounting and Taxation practice. Within the first year it was evident that his clients would benefit from a Comprehensive Planning Service that combined both their financial and business management objectives. Rob worked with a number of regional Engineering, Distribution, and Transportation industries in creating comprehensive strategic plans that are still in practice today. As founder of RLO & Company, Rob continues to be involved in all client engagements and taxation matters. Along with his management responsibilities, Rob stays active in the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), Pennsylvania Society of Public Accountants (PSPA) and the National Society of Tax Professionals.

Cliff Brown, CVA, CEPA

Cliff is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) with nearly 30 years of expertise in helping business owners and their families grow, protect and transfer / sell their largest and most valuable asset. Cliff's business experience is a strong addition to the RLO team.

Amy Cesario, CPA, MBA

Amy is a CPA and MBA with nearly 18 years expertise in accounting. Amy is an Ernst & Young Alumni with a diverse client background. She has taught accounting and strategic business courses at many institutions including Point Park and Chatham University. Her credentials are an invaluable asset to RLO & Company.

Helen Harrell

With 17 years as an Administrative and Benefits Coordinator for a Cleveland-based accounting firm, Helen comes to RLO with extensive experience in accounting administration and personnel management. Her background with the firm included work in the tax department, management of COBRA and HIPAA compliance, and total employee benefit coordination. In addition, Helen has knowledge in all aspects of property management and assessment Helen is our key customer contact and provides administrative support services for both our clients and our staff.
